Solidarity WINS--USW Reach Tentative Agreement with Cooper Tire
The United Steel Workers have come to a tentative agreement to end the lockout at Cooper Tire. Thanks to all of you for showing your solidarity with the 1,050 locked out workers. According to the USW, It was the national day of action in January and the national escalation with the action planned for this Saturday that helped to bring the company back to the table. Needless to say, this Saturday’s activities have been cancelled. Please let your affiliates and allies know of the great news and let them know not to show up for Saturday’s events. Congratulations to our USW brothers and sisters at Cooper Tire!
